Keoplan Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1. Scope of Service

Keoplan is an AI-assisted translation and template compliance checking utility tailored for pharmaceutical companies and biomedical researchers. It is owned and operated as part of the medical services portfolio of Dr. Julian Keogh.

2. Zero-Retention Compliance Policy

To maintain the highest confidentiality standards required by the pharmaceutical industry, the **QRD Conformance Checker** operates under a strict **Zero-Retention policy**:

  • When you initialize a QRD workspace, your uploaded document text is split into segments and cached in a transient database table purely for real-time browser editing.
  • Upon clicking the "Finalize & Purge" action, the final translated/corrected PDF or Word document is generated, exported to your secure cloud bucket, and all cached text segments are **permanently and irreversibly purged** from our databases.

3. Originality & Plagiarism Disclaimer

Please note that Keoplan **does not perform database-backed plagiarism checking** (such as Turnitin or iThenticate). Such checks require institutional licensing and are typically performed directly by publishing houses and academic journals.

Because AI translation models are trained on large corpora of published scientific literature, it is possible that common clinical definitions, routes of administration, or standard pharmaceutical phrasing may trigger sentence-level false positives on external originality checkers. This represents standard context overlap and is not indicative of content plagiarism.

4. Data Processing & Infrastructure

All data submitted to Keoplan is hosted and processed securely within the European Union (EU):

  • Storage: Uploaded files and generated reports are stored in encrypted Scaleway Object Storage buckets (EU-Paris region).
  • AI Processing: Text translation and audits are executed on Scaleway serverless AI endpoints using open-source models. Your data is processed ephemerally and is never utilized by third parties for model training or data mining.
